A Truly Inclusive Community
LSS is unique in its policy of total inclusion; not only are we open and welcoming to all, but we also actively encourage participation. Anyone can take part in our workshops, and members can parade at Notting Hill Carnival as well as work towards performing on stage with the group. If you don’t feel ready to commit to a full years membership (there is no obligation to attend classes!), come and try a workshop or consider volunteering with us.
Annual Membership
London School of Samba offers Annual membership, applied to a fixed timeframe for all members running from January to December inclusively. In addition to the sense of community, members benefit from discounts to participate in our dance classes and drumming workshops, you also receive discounts for our pagodes and other events that we hold.
Maximizing Opportunities
Furthermore, we are open between 40-46 weekends per year. However, closures relate to Bank Holiday weekends, National holidays, and events such as our AGM or Summer Carnival season. Members have ample opportunities throughout the year to engage with our activities.
