Our entire community will be heading south of the river for a massive celebration of culture and rhythm: The Brazilian Carnaval 2026 at the iconic Clapham Grand!

This is what we train for! The energy we build every week is moving to the big stage to bring the spirit of the Rio and Notting Hill Carnivals to life. Expect a night of spectacular costumes, high-octane choreography, and the thunderous sound of live drumming in one of London’s most historic venues.

Join us from 4:00pm to 10:00pm for a samba-filled Sunday guaranteed to shake off the winter blues. This event sells out every year, so early booking is strongly recommended.

Doors open at 4:00pm — Last entry at 7:00pm

Expect an immersive Brazilian experience with live music, drumming, DJs, dancers, acrobats, face painting, authentic street food and vibrant drinks. The dancefloor will move to the sounds of samba, funk, house, MPB, bossa nova, forró, axé, pagode, sertanejo, hip hop, disco, sambass and more.

Hosted at The Grand, directly opposite Clapham Junction station, this iconic and historic venue provides the perfect backdrop to celebrate Brazil’s most famous festival in true style.

Please note that there will be no regular dance classes at the Waterloo Action Centre on Sunday, 15 February.

 

Join the Party

While there is no class on the 15th, the dance floor at The Clapham Grand is very much open. We invite all our regular Sunday students, friends, and family to join us in the audience to cheer on the show and soak up the authentic Carnaval atmosphere. It’s a chance to see the Samba we love in its full glory!
