The London School of Samba provides an authentic taste of Brazil; exuberant and colourful. We are flexible with our performance routine from being able to fulfil a gig in front of thousands of people to more intimate corporate affairs, birthdays or weddings.
Grande Package
Our Grande Package is suited to large public events such as festivals and club nights, as well as private and corporate events. Often the audience will join in with the dancing. You decide on the length of the performance or if you would like something more intimate, see our Pequeno package options.

London School of Samba at the 2025 London Marathon
You can see and hear the School perform for free at the London Marathon on 27th April 2025. They will be playing at a location in Canary Wharf next to the course. You will hear them before you see them! Find us here: what3words
The School’s Bateria (band) will start playing Samba for the wheel chair participants in the morning and perform through until late afternoon. They will be joined by some of their Samba dancers to encourage the racers. You are welcome to have a little dance with us on your way if you are participating!

Return to Covent Garden
The London School of Samba performed at Covent Garden London in April 2024, 40 years after their first performance there. Throughout the year the Bateria (band) and dancers appeared at many more events.
London New Years Day Parade
Every year, the London School of Samba performs at the New Years Day Parade. The rain this year was no deterrent to our dedicated band and dancers who brought the new year in with Samba joy.
You can see some of the coverage on our Instagram and Facebook channels, and we’re on the LNYDP YouTube (1:48:33 – 1:49:27) but note the sound quality and commentary isn’t great (unless it’s a tribute to Elizabeth Banks in ‘Pitch Perfect’), as well as the preview film.

Annual membership is just £60 for the entire year, with concessions available. Or come and join us for a taster Samba dance class or Bateria (drumming) workshop session on Sundays next to Waterloo Station. You can even try out both in the same night!
